Troubleshooting: Autel Tablet VCI Bluetooth Connection Issues
If you're experiencing trouble connecting your Autel tablet's VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) via Bluetooth, follow the steps below to help resolve the issue:
Step 1: Update Software & VCI Firmware
Start by ensuring all your software is up to date, including the VCI firmware. You can follow the update procedure in this video: How to Update VCI Firmware.
Once your software is updated, try connecting via USB cable to see if the connection works. After confirming that USB works, try connecting with Bluetooth again.
Step 2: Bluetooth Not Connecting
If USB works but Bluetooth still doesn't connect, try the following steps:
- Go to Settings >> Reset >> Network Settings Reset >> Reset Settings.
- After resetting, check if you can connect to the VCI again using Bluetooth.
Step 3: Check Bluetooth Signal
If you still can't connect, go to Settings >> Bluetooth and check if the VCI's Bluetooth signal appears. If you can find the signal:
- Try connecting via the Settings menu.
If the connection still fails, there may be an issue with the VCI. Please contact your dealer for a replacement or repair.
